5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche is officially over which concludes our fall 2024 season and we couldn't be more proud. This show was an excellent way to end our semester at LFC, it was an equal amount of heart and jokes.
5 Lesbians sold many tickets and has some livley audiences that were very interactive Friday-Sunday. They were so proud of the work they accomplished throughout the week and through there rehearsal process.
They had some tough times through their rehearsals having 2 actors dropping out of the show and needing 2 to fill in but the directors are appreciative of everyone who was ever apart of the show and are so grateful for everyone involved.
Starting off their tech week they moved in on Monday and started working on tech for the show even rehersaing the entire show in that first tech. The next few days were spent testing out blood splatter, getting all the tech aspects down, and working on tweaking a few small things.
Then Friday they finally had their meeting for the 1956 meeting of the Susan B Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein, a fun aspect of this show being the audience participation. They then had phenomenal performances Saturday and Sunday. One of their favorite parts of the shows were picking who Marjorie was each night, which was an audience member who is picked on the entire show, all in good fun though.
LFC couldn't be more proud of this final show for the Fall 2024 season. We are so excited to conclude on such a high note and are even more excited to start our next show with an amazing show pool for the Spring. Stay tuned for a special blog recapping our show season by our President in the near future.
