Almost Maine was two weeks ago and we couldn't be more proud of our second to last show of the season. This show sold so many tickets and took the audience members on quite a journey, some would say we walked around the entire globe during this show.
The directors of Almost, Maine were so incredibly proud of their company and all the work put into the show. They were beaming from ear to ear each night.
Tech week was spectacular for this cast and crew. Spending Monday night moving into the space and focusing on tech to performing run throughs of the show the rest of the week it was phenominal seeing this cast and crew come together. Especially when you think about how these cast members didn't come together fully until much later in the rehesarsal process due to the nature of the show. However, by the end of the week they were a really well bonded team you could tell through their performances.
By Friday night they were ready for their first audience the LFC company. Our company was so excited to watch this show come to life. The next night the show was open and it felt quite chilly in Arts West...almost frigid as the audiences were transported to a little town called Almost. Closing was bittersweet but the company ws so estactic to have some great shows and to cherish the memories they made during their performances.
Overall, we are so incredibly proud of this show and touched the hearts of many audience members. Another production done onto 5 Lesbains and I suppose they are eating quiche, stay tuned to find out.
