See an LFC Show!

The Lost Flamingo Theatre Company produces 3 plays and 1 musical every academic semester! Shows are generally performed at ARTS/West in Athens, Ohio by Ohio University students. Tickets do not exceed $5, however company members have the opportunity for free admittance. We hope to see you at one of our shows this semester! Read below for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are LFC shows?

LFC is happy to have a relationship with Arts/West in Athens, where the straight plays and spring musical are performed. 

What time?

Shows are usually at 7 pm on Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. The doors will open 15-30 minutes prior. 

Should I arrive early?

Doors open 15-30 minutes prior to the show, at least 15 minutes early should be appropriate timing.

Will shows sell out?

Our plays typically do not sell out, but there is always a possibility!

How much are tickets?

Tickets to our shows are $5, and company members can attend all shows for free!​

Rocky Horror Picture Show FAQ

What's Rocky?

LFC's performance of Rocky Horror is a shadow performance, meaning the 1975 cult classic is screened behind a talented group reenacting the scenes. ​​

When?

Rocky begins at 10 pm on Wednesday (if applicable), Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, and the doors open at 9 pm. Dates are subject to change annually; check yearly.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are $8 flat rate for everyone, plus an additional $2 for audience members under age 21 ($10).

Where?

Rocky is held at the Union, one of the company's partners, a bar in Athens.

Do get there early! Lines start to form by 7PM.

Do dress up, but remember outside temperatures when waiting!

Do shout your favorite callbacks and sing along!

Do bring money to tip your bartenders!

Rocky Don'ts!

Do not throw items at or try to get on the stage.

Do not attempt to/touch the performers.

Do not make Rocky uncomfortable for another audience member!

Do not go alone, it can be easy to get lost in the crowd!
