Tech interviews are held after the second meeting of the semester. Interviews are very laid-back with the directors and Tech Director. They will ask you pertinent questions regarding the tech positions for their shows, and you can ask any questions you have. We hope to have you on LFC's tech team this semester! When are tech interviews?
Tech interviews are held the after the 7PM Tuesday general body meeting of Week 2 each semester.
Where are auditions?
The location is subject to change. Check our Instagram or Facebook before Week 2 to find out specific information.
What tech positions are available?
The tech positions open vary from show to show. Some shows demand more tech than other shows, but generally, these are the positions in which you can be interviewed for:

The Costumes and Props Guilds are always looking for help. Reach out the the Costume Empress or Prop Baron if you are interested! If interested in being a Company Photographer, reach out to the PR Director!​​
Can I pick what show I do?
At your interview, you can indicate your preference! The directors and Tech Director take this into consideration when they are deciding.
What do I have to have prepared?
Just yourself!
How much experience is needed?
Experience is always a plus, but not a necessity with LFC. We will teach you everything you need to know as you go!
What is the time commitment for tech crew?
Time commitment varies upon position. Costumes may be needed tech week and during shows, as well as a few weeks beforehand. Lights, sound, and stagehands/props will be needed a few weeks prior to opening night. Company Photographers may be asked to attend a few show rehearsals and company events, as well as PR days and performances. Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers are required to be at every rehearsal.
How can I become a director?
Director applications are sent out mid-semester in preparation for the coming semester. When applying to direct or assistant direct you number your preference for what show you would like to be involved with. Generally, you must assistant direct before you direct.
